Thierry Noir – Street Innocence

Thierry Noir was born in 1958 in Lyon, France, and arrived in Berlin in January 1982. In April 1984, he began painting on the Berlin Wall, and is considered the first artist to do so. His goal was to perform a truly revolutionary act: to paint on the Berlin Wall, to change it, to make it ridiculous, and to help bring it down.
