The neighborhood is built in the form of a courtyard neighborhood (the neighborhood houses enclosed as a sealed inner courtyard frame which was accessed through gates that were locked at night). This construction was typical of 19th century Jewish community building.<br \/>On the tour among the neighborhood&#8217;s low-rise buildings you will find graffiti in a variety of techniques and styles.<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\">The Nahlaot neighborhood is located near the Mahane Yehuda market and some of the artists such as Solomon Souza-kohn, for example, painted their graffiti in both Nahla and the Mahane Yehuda market.
